What is covered by an Extended Warranty?

The Extended Warranty provides full repair cover for your Miele appliance. It includes call out, labour, and the cost of spare parts needed to complete the repair, unless the damage was caused by wrongful intent or gross negligence. Terms and Conditions apply.

What is not covered by an Extended Warranty?

The Extended Warranty does not cover:
  • Faults due to improper installation
  • Damages linked to an intervention not conducted by Miele or an authorised Miele Service Partner
  • Consumables / accessories, for example: detergent, activated carbon filter, and water filter
  • Defect causes outside of the device (external factors such as damage caused through transportation, impact and jolting, or natural phenomena)
  • Improper use or operation, for example unsuitable detergents or chemicals, intake of fluids, construction dust, or toner
  • Usage related and natural wear and tear, including normal reduction in battery performance, and parts that, according to the operating instructions, must be replaced regularly during the product life cycle

Can I transfer an Extended Warranty to a new owner or another appliance?

An Extended Warranty cannot be transferred to a different appliance. If the appliance is sold, the Extended Warranty can be assigned to the new owner. Please contact Miele to complete and validate the assignment

Does the Extended Warranty cover service by a Miele service partner?

Yes. Under the Extended Warranty, your repair will be carried out by Miele Customer Service or an authorised Miele service partner. Terms and Conditions apply.
Repairs conducted by unauthorised service providers are not covered.

What happens if my appliance with Extended Warranty cannot be repaired?

If, upon inspection, our service team determines that your appliance is beyond economic repair or cannot reasonably be repaired under the terms of this policy, you may receive a replacement appliance. Wherever reasonably available, the replacement will be of the same brand and model. If an identical model is unavailable, a new appliance with equivalent or better specifications, features, and capacity will be provided, subject to availability and approval under the applicable service assessment. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure compatibility with existing home systems and connected appliances. Any remaining cover under your policy will automatically transfer to the replacement appliance.
